Mountain Biking

With nine trail networks across northern New England and southern Quebec, Bike the Borderlands offers destination mountain biking – and the opportunity for local riders to hit the trails right down the road. Begun as an effort to boost local economies and bolster the mountain biking community, the collaborative Borderlands initiative has helped local mountain biking groups raise money to build trails – from beginner flow tracks to technical terrain to adaptive accessible options – as well as encouraging riders to respect the land and the property they ride.

Last year, the Bike Borderlands Film Festival included short films featuring each network. Here are three of those films, from PRKR MTN in Littleton, New Hampshire, Franconia Area NEMBA in Franconia, New Hampshire, and Kingdom Trails Association in East Burke, Vermont.
