“I love that Vermont’s woods offer glimpses of the past,” said Joshua Blouin, who spotted this old Chevy on a farm in Warren, Vermont. The farmer told Blouin he started driving this truck at age 12 and once backed it into a mailbox. It’s been in the field for more than 50 years – long enough for a tree to grow right through the hood. “It captures the intersection of historical land use and the cultural importance of small family farms on our landscape,” Blouin said, “as well as showcasing the remarkable resiliency of our forests.”
