Located in the scenic foothills of northwest Connecticut, Enders Falls is a unique, quarter-mile-long chain of five waterfalls and associated pools, ledges, and gorges. The waterfalls are the main attraction of the 2,100-acre Enders State Forest. “These distinctive geologic features are a testament to the carving power of even a small forest stream over thousands of years,” said photographer John Burk. “On this hot summer day, the swimmers in the pool above the main falls added a sense of scale.”
