Starting with the Autumn 2009 issue, current versions of the Teacher’s Guide, along with a low-resolution, electronic version of the complete magazine, can be found online at our NWGTS group site. You will need to establish an account with Google Groups to join the site.
By taking the NWGTS program entirely online, we will be able to save tens of thousands of printing and postage dollars while simultaneuously expanding the program to a far larger audience. If you have questions about the new online program, or are having difficulty accessing the NWGTS group site, email .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address)at the Northern Woodlands office or give a call: (800) 290-5232.
Below you will find an archive of older versions of the Northern Woodlands Goes to School Teacher’s Guides. Each guide contains references to related supplemental resource materials in print and on-line and with connections to the different states’ learning standards and curriculum. There are also links from Northern Woodlands articles to Project Learning Tree or Project WILD activities, as well as activity sheets to use with Northern Woodlands articles that help reinforce the key concepts for students.
