From 1998 to early 2011, Northern Woodlands produced a Teacher’s Guide to accompany the magazine. While the Northern Woodlands Goes to School program no longer produces this guide, you can still access the archive of existing guides below.
Each guide contains references to related supplemental resource materials in print and on-line and with connections to the different states’ learning standards and curriculum. There are also links from Northern Woodlands articles to Project Learning Tree or Project WILD activities, as well as activity sheets to use with Northern Woodlands articles that help reinforce the key concepts for students.
Low-resolution, electronic versions of the complete magazine from Autumn 2009 to Winter 2010 can be found online at our
NWGTS group site. You will need to establish an account with Google Groups to join the site. Please note that this site is for hosting archival materials only and is no longer active.
