Northern Woodlands is the trade name of the Center for Northern Woodlands Education, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit educational organization with a mission to shape the future of the Northeast’s forests through education about their value, use, and conservation. Programs include:

Northern Woodlands magazine - a quarterly magazine for landowners, forestry professionals, conservationists, and outdoor enthusiasts.

Writers & Readers Conference - Sponsored by The Trust for Public Land, this conference explores how writers, artists and educators express the rich forest heritage of the Northeast: both the natural history of our region, and the interactions of people and place.

Subscribe and Support - a fundraising program for environmental educators and organizations.
