Ad Specifications

2011 Space Reservation Deadlines:

Spring: December 27; Summer: March 28; Autumn: June 27; Winter: September 26

2011 Material Deadlines:

Spring: January 3; Summer: April 4; Autumn: July 5; Winter: October 3

File Guidelines:

All advertisements are to be created in InDesign, Illustrator, or PDF. Files should be saved in the native format and labeled with the platform (Mac/PC), program, version and advertiser's name. Screen and printer fonts for ad, as well as placed files used in the ad, should also accompany each file or substitutions will be made. Please do not use font styles.

Color ads must have all spot color converted to process color. Digital images must be 300 dpi, and sized appropriately (100%). Line art scans should be 600 dpi or higher. PDF files must be PDF X1A compliant and should be accompanied by native files. For PDFs, use the settings, PDF X1A or Press Quality.

Additional Charges:

Production charges will be assessed at $50 per hour for the following: Ads that are created from a raw copy; Ads that require changes or must be resized; Ads that require scans of photos, slides or art; Ads submitted in incompatible formats that need to be recreated (ie: MSWord, Corel, Excel).

Ad Design: Full page $300; 2/3 page $250; 1/2 page $200; 1/3 page $150; 1/4 page $100; 1/6 page $50

PDF proofs will be provided upon request for new ads or ads that require additional production.
